Why did Rome Fall?
Well, there is no one answer to that question. Neither is there one precise year when the Roman Empire fell.
One could say that leaves things pretty murky at best.
Thankfully Anti-Folk Musician & Comic Book Artist Jeffrey Lewis helps us out with a History Channel video, performing a piece about this very topic.
Mr. Lewis weaves the theories that historians have put forth as answers to the question what brought about the fall of the Roman Empire.
Mr. Lewis performs a 3 minute song and along with a comic book guide he created in a style he calls "low-budget video." Over the last few years, Lewis has completed 25 large, full-color books that he reads and sings live while his band performs behind him.
Whether Indie Rock, Anti-Folk music is your cup of tea or not this performance sure makes Roman History that much more witty, interesting and memorable.
